The journey begins with an in-depth, two-hour meeting. This is our chance to get to know each other, explore potential locations, and most importantly, understand your ideas, lifestyle, and vision for your custom home. Whether you come with a few rough ideas or a complete home plan, we’re here to help refine your vision and share insights from our decades of experience.

Step 2: Designing Your Dream Home

Using the information from our first meeting, we handpick a few designs from our extensive library of thousands of home plans to help you find the perfect fit. You can choose to customize one of these designs further or even start from scratch. We’ll also prepare detailed specifications to ensure every element of your home is tailored to your preferences, from layout to finishes.

Step 3: Signing the Agreement

Once your dream home is clear, it’s time to move forward. Up to this point, all consultations have been complimentary. To keep the process moving efficiently, we ask for a deposit to cover initial costs like architectural services and permits. This allows us to focus on getting your home ready without delays, so we can continue providing outstanding service for years to come.

Step 4: Financing Options

We offer flexibility when it comes to financing. Paragon clients have access to several loan options, including end loans (no construction loan required), swing loans, and standard construction loans. You can choose the lender that best fits your needs, and we’ll guide you through the options. You don’t have to sell your current home before starting construction—our process is designed to keep things moving smoothly.

Step 5: Personalizing Your Selections

When it comes to choosing the details, we offer complete flexibility. You can visit design centers and handpick every element, or have our designers bring curated options to you for a streamlined experience. Whether you want to get involved in every decision or let us handle the finer details, our goal is to ensure your home reflects your unique style. From appliances to fixtures, you’ll have a range of brands and options to choose from, all backed by our personalized customer service.

Step 6: Groundbreaking Day

When it’s time to break ground, you can sit back and watch, or turn the first shovel of dirt yourself. At this stage, your work is done, and ours is just beginning. From here, we handle everything, ensuring your home is built with precision and care.
